Not only the BMW X5, the Volvo has also introduced the plug-in hybrid variants onto its Volvo XC90 which was based on the technology that they had used before in its Volvo V60. This car is classified as a Mid-Size Luxury SUV and this model is a 7-seated SUV which is the competitor of the BMW X5 e-drive 40e. Furthermore, they call this plug-in hybrid variant as the “T8” variant.

3. Mini Countryman Se

This is the Mini Countryman Se and this is the first Plug-in Hybrid vehicle which is introduce by MINI. This Mini Countryman Se has been classified as a subcompact Luxury SUV. From the exterior of the car, there is a charging pod at the left-front side of the car. Which is similar to the BMW plug-in hybrid vehicles.

To recognize whether it is the Mini Countryman S or the Mini Countryman Se. The “S” symbol in the front of the Mini Countryman S is with the red in color and for the Mini Countryman Se, the “S” symbol is with yellow in color.
