Other than the Crossover SUV that was produced in that decades, there were also some other brand who had been introducing some new compact SUV model during that time. During that time, those compact SUV that had been introduced are mostly from the luxury brands. Here are those SUVs.

1. Hyundai Tucson

Well, the Hyundai is also following the trend which is to make their own compact SUV in that decades. This is the Hyundai Tucson that had been introduced in 2004. 2. BMW X3 (E83)

This is the BMW X3. This model with the code of E83 had been produced in 2003. Other than that, the BMW X3 had been introduced with its 4-wheel drive system which called as X-drive. This is also the second model that entering to the BMW X family. And, this BMW X3 model is the “younger brother” of the other BMW “X” family which is BMW X5.

 

3. Mercedes-Benz GLK-Class (X204)

After five years of BMW X3 existence in the compact SUV market. The Mercedes GLK-Class had finally announced its first compact SUV in 2008. This model was produced just to compete with its competitors which was the BMW X3 (E83). The Mercedes-Benz has an elegant and stylish look on its exterior. Other than that, this car had targeted those young entrepreneur who are have some good results in their business.
