The full-size SUV is still common in the 1990’s since it is the origin of the SUV. The full-size SUVs were intended to be functioned for long-distance driving for six people and their baggage. In those good days, the full-size SUV is still mainly for off-road and also have the other role which is for family use since it can fit 6 people and it also have better boot space than sedan to put their baggage. 1. Toyota Land Cruiser (J80), Lexus LX450

The Toyota Land Cruiser with the code of J80 was unveiled in October 1989 and it launched in the early 1990. It came with the swing-out back door at the beginning and it was replaced by a tailgate and hatch in 1994. Other than that, the first-generation of Lexus LX is released which it was based on the Toyota Land Cruiser (J80) and it was the first SUV from Lexus. The Lexus LX has the more luxurious interior with the softer suspension settings.

2. Range Rover (P38A)

After the 24 years production of the first-generation Range Rover “Classic”. The successor of the Range Rover is the code of P38A which has the modern look compared to the predecessor. From this model, there were still have some design elements from the predecessor. In this model, Range Rover has improved the electronic air suspension (EAS) that allowed automatic and also the speed determined height adjustment of the vehicle. There are five suspension heights that offered in the Range Rover which are “Access”, “Motorway”, “Off-Road”, “Off-Road Extended’ and lastly the “Standard” mode.

3. Ford Expedition (UN 93)

The Ford Expedition was their first entry of the Full-size SUV market with its four-door body. This car is with the almost 1-foor wheelbase which means that the size of this car is huge. This is because the chassis of this vehicle is based on the F-150 pickup. So that the styling was huge carried, with adjusted edges as a bow to optimal design. Inside, the Expedition offered is roomy comfort. The target customer is those buyers who are looking for a big and solid wagon for working and also for family transportation.
